Private practice Physiotherapist

Are you an experienced private practice Physiotherapist looking for a dynamic and flexible role that prioritises your professional and personal development?

 

If you want to take your manual therapy and exercise prescription skills to the next level, consider joining us at Physio Train.

We’re looking for a full time Physiotherapist to join our growing and supportive team. 

 

Your caseload will be varied, with opportunities to grow your skills and develop a career in musculoskeletal/sports, exercise rehabilitation, Redcord exercise, clinical Pilates and so much more. You’ll get to work in a well located modern clinic with an exercise studio fitted out with cable machines, free weights, clinical pilates reformers and suspension equipment. Our Brighton clinic is just a few minutes drive to Brighton beach and the cafes of Martin Street.

 

Your professional development is important to us, and you’ll be offered a structured mentoring program, delivered by our experienced Sports Physiotherapist as well as in-services. As leaders in Redcord, you’ll also have the opportunity to complete in-house training in this evidence-based approach to neuromuscular assessment and retraining. 


In this role you will: 

  • Assess muscle, nerve, joint, and functional capabilities to diagnose and treat patients’ physical issues.
  • Provide musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy to alleviate pain, enhance function, restore movement, and improve balance and coordination.
  • Create personalised treatment plans to relieve pain, increase strength, restore movement and enhance performance.
  • Review, monitor, assess, and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment programs and interventions.
  • Work with other healthcare professionals such as local GPs and NDIS care coordinators regarding patients’ conditions, needs, and progress.
  • Educate and support patients to continue exercising at home. 
  • Document treatments and track patients’ responses and progress.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience 
  • AHPRA recognised Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree qualification 
  • Previous private practice experience preferred  
  • Current AHPRA registration 
  • Working rights for Australia 
  • Professional indemnity insurance

  • Have a minimum of two years private practice experience.

We offer a competitive annual salary of $80,000 to $90,000 to match your experience and a quarterly bonus incentive scheme to help you build and retain your client list.
